As our travels slowly resume after the Covid era, we did a trip to Chicago in September. Here are some photos of the Catherine Chevalier forest preserve, along the Des Plaines river just east of O'Hare airport.
We didn't do a lot else in the big city on this trip, but went walking in other forest preserves whenever we got the chance.
