Capitol Reef: Grand Wash Trail

The morning of Sept. 25, we did the Grand Wash trail in Capitol Reef National Park.  It's a canyon hike, most of the photos can speak for themselves ...





There was a little cave off to the side along the way, that's me at the back of it ...

I love these pockmarks that the fast-moving flood waters erode into the walls of the canyons, they are everywhere:





Some of the eroded holes get pretty big:




Next, we are going to take a scenic drive along the Notom-Bullfrog road, so don't go away!
