Arches National Park: Garden of Eden

On our way to go see some arches, we stopped at the Garden of Eden area.  Usually the names of these desert landmarks lean more towards the hellish theme, so we were curious to see what made it Eden-like.

There is a bit of an overlook here, this is looking to the northwest where you can see the Fiery Furnace formation in the distance.  We'll see it better later on.  I guess it's the relative lushness of the vegetation right around here that makes it be "Eden".

We didn't spend too much time here because we were anxious to get to our next stop, with some actual arches!
