On Dec. 1 we headed into Arches National Park. It's one of those places where you just can't put the camera down. These first 3 photos were taken on our approach to the Park Avenue trail, which is the first one you come to inside the park:
The Park Avenue trail is a good one, around 2 miles out and back. It's named after these rock erosions that look like skyscrapers:
We had some interesting clouds too that made for great photos when they weren't putting everything into shadow:
I think this one is called the Three Gossips:
